The club

Three stadiums are referenced to welcome the teams of the SSGLB XV, fortified by the union of 3 cities. The Jules Ribet stadium in Saint-Gaudens, the Charles Suran stadium in Boulogne-sur-Gesse and the high school stadium in Bagnères-de-Luchon.

The beautiful story

The Saint Gaudens club has existed since 1858. Today it brings together 3 municipalities following the merger with Luchon in 2012 and Boulogne in 2021. With more than 100 years of history in the Comminges, the SSGLB XV carries loud and clear the values of rugby in the region. The colors of the SSGLB XV are blue and white.

TITLES & RANKINGS

The Comminges club has a good track record behind it with 3 titles of Champion of France, in 1955 in Promotion Honor, in 1958 in Honor and in 1988 in National B. More recently, in 2015, he won the title of Champion Midi Pyrénées Reserve Honor.

THE ICONIC PLAYER

Former Montréjeau player, Alex Martinez quickly stood out and joined the France Juniors, School, University and Espoirs teams. From 92 he took on the coaching hat and exercised at the highest level in Tarbes in ProD2 and in Montauban in TOP 14. He then returned to his roots as a coach at Saint Gaudens, a club where he is still involved today.
