The club was founded in 1908 on the initiative of young high school and college students from the village who attended schools in Toulouse and Saint Gaudens.
The colors of ASM are red and blue
Jean Castet (1897-1916): founder of the ASM in 1908 which gave its name to the municipal stadium of Montesquieu-Volvestre, disappeared in 1916 during the First World War after having appealed in 1915.
The club’s supporters can meet at the Jean Castet stadium (founder of the club), to encourage the ASM teams.
During its history, the ASM will come very close to the title of Champion of France 3rd series in 1914, sesame which it will obtain in 2011 in the Honor category.
