The beautiful story

In 1999 the 2 historic clubs of RC Frouzins and JSC Cugnaux joined forces in an agreement bringing together the municipalities of Cugnaux, Villeneuve-Tolosane, Frouzin and Seysses. The club has essentially evolved at the Regional level and has been alongside the Federal 3 since 2019. With young categories playing at the highest regional level, RC Saudrune is a very good training club.

TITLES & RANKINGS

With 5 Midi Pyrénées Champion titles from 2006 to 2010, RC Saudrune won the Occitanie Reserve Honor Championship in 2019. The club is now playing in Federal 3.

THE ICONIC PLAYER

Fabien Pellizer , son of a Cugnaux player, did all his Rugby School at the club. Having known the difficult years of La Saudrune in 2004 and 2005, he remains faithful to his heart club with which he obtains the title of Champion Midi-Pyrénées Promotion Honor in 2010. Today we can hear him encouraging the players every Sunday at the edge of the pitch since he never misses a Seniors match.

The teams

The club’s various teams are lucky enough to be able to play in two municipal stadiums as a result of the agreement, that of Cugnaux and that of Frouzins.

SENIORS At the dawn of the club’s 20th anniversary, RC Saudrune has established itself permanently in the honor division. The enormous training work carried out in recent years is beginning to bear fruit.

We are proud to see young players trained at the club evolve every weekend as seniors, supervised by a few experienced players, validating our training policy.

In recent years, RC Saudrune has structured itself sportingly and financially.

We are now playing the leading roles in honor, with the assumed ambition of reaching federal 3.

CADETS For the 2022-2023 season, the U18s (Cadettes) born in 2005, 2006 and 2007 train on Tuesdays from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Tournefeuille and on Fridays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Villeneuve Tolosane.
