Our vineyards:

la Cave Viticole
In his study of the vineyards of France , Doctor Jules Guyot recognized, in the 19th century, the viticultural potential of the terroir of Branceilles . Defining the extreme south of Corrèze, he wrote at that time, ” that such a rich and beautiful country would be, like Périgord, like the Landes, like so many other countries in France, easily enriched and populated by the vine » . The vineyard of the Coteaux de la Vézère cellar extends exclusively over the communes of Allassac, Donzenac, and Voutezac, about twenty minutes from Brive-la- Gaillardia. Here, the heritage and landscape of the Pays de Brive have been shaped by viticulture over the centuries. Witness the villages and winegrowers’ houses, the terraced hillsides (the Bontat terraces, in Voutezac) or the vine huts with slate roofs, once a place to rest or store tools, right in the middle of the vines. Voutezac has nearly a hundred of these vine huts, which are still actively recorded and preserved. We welcome you to the cellar, in a beautiful building typical of Corrèze, an old farm, to understand the richness of our terroir . You can, on occasion, meet the winegrowers of our cellar who will share their history with you. Located in the Saillant d’Allassac, our cellar is open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. CD31 Roadbooks:
