The club

The graduates of the XV de la Save evolve on 3 different grounds, the main one being Georges Estelle in Saint-Paul-sur-Save. The municipalities of Launac and Thil also host the club on their infrastructure.

The beautiful story

The beginnings of the club date back to 1968 with the creation of the Union Sportive Montaigut Saint Paul, an agreement between two towns on the banks of the Sava. It was not until 1988 that it merged with Racing Club Launacais and in 2012 that it took the name of XV de la Save that we know today. The colors of XV de la Save are blue and white.

TITLES & RANKINGS

The XV de la Save club has 4 regional titles in 1st and 2nd series, the first of which dates from 1995. Added to this, the club won the grail in 2018 with the title of Champion of France 1era series.

Norbert de la Purification alias “Nono” started rugby at US Colomiers before moving on to the clubs of Cognac and Blagnac. He came to finish his career at XV de la Save as a player and coach.
